It's Tam's time to shine - Rodgers
Young Hungarian striker Tamas Priskin has been heavily praised by new Watford boss Brendan Rodgers who insists the new kid off the Eastern bloc can be 'a top player`.
In form Priskin has fired 3 goals in 3 games since Rodgers took over (taking his Watford tally to 10) and is starting to look the part of a Championship marksman with his workrate and finishing picking up plaudits with almost every game.
Well, what did you expect? After all it was Aidy Boothroyd who compared the Hungarian hitman to Inter Milan and Sweden heart throb Zlatan Ibrahimovic!
nd Brendan Rodgers has been quick to back up the former Hornets gaffer confirming "I`ve said it to Tamas before, and having worked with top players, he moves like one of those. He`s got a great body shape and moves well but he needs to keep the ambition going."
Rodgers then gushed "…He has got wonderful feet" before adding "Like all my players I want him to learn. I tell them all that if 'you learn, you earn` and he can earn a lot by being a top player".
Priskin is clearly a shy character who has taken time to settle into life in England and was seemingly on his way in the summer - with Preston and former club FC Gyori rumoured to be interested - but it appears he has an admirer in the new Watford boss.
And that is a fact that young Tamas shouldn`t forget. After all, his East European counterpart at Watford, Grzgorz Rasiak, is far less fortunate it seems.
