'If It's Football, It's Vital'

NFL cheerleaders love Watford - fact!

After putting on a 'bit of a show` at half time during the Watford-Cardiff clash, NFL cheerleaders - the New Orleans Saintsations - have insisted they just loved shaking their pompoms in front of the Hornets home end…

That makes all of us then girls!

When asked by the Guardian if it was a comedown performing at Vicarage Road before they headed across to Wembley, stunning Saintsations girl DiAnn beamed "Watford was fun. The fans really enjoyed us and cheered us on".

Well, what did she expect? After all, they were a far cry from the amateurish shower of 14 year old`s plucked from outside Primark that we`d come to know (and loath) as the Hornettes!.

And the quite gorgeous Ashlyn added, with an all American smile, "It was a bit muddy but we still had fun - it was great".

Even Watford`s on pitch announcer Richard Shaw, who will also get up close and personal with the girls at Wembley Stadium, said "There are more people down in the tunnel at half time that I have ever seen…funny that!".

That ogling crowd is widely rumoured to have included Hornets winger Jobi McAnuff as well all of Watford`s academy starlets and reserve team squad - but the delectable DiAnn was quick to dismiss dating players, insisting "it`s a big no no".

Such a shame…
