Striker Suspended

Ineffective though he was against Cardiff City, the return of Grzegorz Rasiak could not have been better timed.

Fellow Eastern-blocker, Tamas Priskin saw red in the Bluebirds draw and will serve the customary three-match ban for a straight red. Bad timing for the Hungarian who had just scored his first two goals in a year for the Hornets.

Priskin's suspension will see him miss Wolves on Saturday, Preston away on Tuesday, then Blackpool at home after that. Hopefully in the mean time, Rasiak will get fit enough to lead the line for the next week or so.

Let's give the man a decent chance, he is a proven goalscorer and will get stuck in.

No question he has looked a much improved player in recent weeks with the ball at his feet but there can be no excuse for him deciding to punch Darren Purse...the reaction of AB on Tuesday said it all.

Er thanks Doc, but I was talking about Rasiak!!

Looks like Rasiak will start then ?
