Wantaway Kabba hedging his bets
Blackpool boss Paul Grayson might have rescued Steve Kabba from the footballing wilderness but the wantaway Watford striker is keeping his options open when the transfer window opens in January!
Kabba even admitted that the 3-month loan move to Blackpool was "a crossroads…a bit of a last chance" but still won`t guarantee that he`ll repay the faith shown in him by signing permanently.
Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette, Kabba won`t have endeared himself to the Bloomfield Road faithful by stating "This move here was a big thing for me and I know that if I do a good job at Bloomfield Road, clubs might come in for me in January…".
The former Blades and Palace frontman went on to add that his roving eye could be distracted elsewhere, adding "Hopefully I will have a few offers and then the decision will be down to me".
But the wantaway Watford striker, who was signed for a staggering £500k and big wages during the Hornets ill-fated season in the Premier League, did offer a brief flicker of hope for the Tangerine army.
He added "Have I ruled out coming to Blackpool? No, not at all"
Well that`s good of him.
