Watford way to fluffy & nice - Aidy
Watford should go back to their old ways of being a bunch of bullies who upset a few people and rattle a few cages. Well, that`s the opinion of Hornets chief Aidy Boothroyd anyway.
And he isn`t overly happy to have label his team "fluffy" either - especially as the gaffer is irked by the manner in which Watford lost both games to Sheffield United and Burnley - both big, aggressive, physical teams in their own right.
Speaking to the official club site, Boothroyd stated "I just felt we were a bit too fluffy and a little but too nice on Tuesday and Saturday and we`ve never been accused of that before."
He added "We`ve been accused of being a nasty, horrible team to play against and that`s what I`d like us to be, with quality, so we need to find that eye of the tiger again".
Eye of the Tiger huh Aidy? Well as the saying goes, tomorrow`s clash with Preston should be "the cream of the fight"…
…as long we can rise to the challenge of our rivals.
