Hameur out for the season
Hameur Bouazza is out for the remainder of the Championship campaign after breaking his fifth metatarsal in his right foot during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Derby County.
The versatile Frenchman spent the first pat of the season on-loan at League One outfit Swindon Town and since returning he has forced his way into Aidy Boothroyd's starting line-up playing either as a striker or, more regularly, on the left flank.
Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd told the club's official site: “It's a shame for him because he's done very well out on loan. He's learned a lot about the game and himself, being a main player with more expectation on him.'
The news comes as a big blow to Watford because the Frenchman was arguably playing the best he has in a yellow shirt in recent weeks and has forced winger Anthony McNamee out of the starting eleven. However, the injury presents a chance for McNamee to gain a place in the starting eleven or attacker Ashley Young could be pushed out to the left flank.
