'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Owls out to wing it' against Watford

Lloyd Doyley and Jon Harley are in for a torrid time at Hillsborough on Saturday - well that`s the war cry from VitalWednesday anyway, who reckon the Owls threat will come down the flanks!

The Owls fans have earmarked Wednesday wingers 'flying Dutchman` Etienne Esajas and Jermaine Johnson as the dangermen to watch in this weekend`s clash and with Wade Small back in contention, the Owls are well equipped with talented widemen.

In an exclusive interview with VitalWatford (ok, Dr Watford emailed them a few questions), VitalWednesday editor Nick Rigg said "Jermaine Johnson and Etienne Esajas [are] not the best defensively but when they`re on form, they`re on form and can scare the living daylights out of defenders with their pace and skill"

Not great news then - especially given first choice left back Matt Sadler is ruled out injured.

Esajas showed signs of some serious pace in a rather flat Yorkshire pudding of a Wednesday display at the Vic last season and VitalWednesday added "Etienne has 'come good` this season after an injury-ravaged time last season…Hopefully if he stays injury free he`ll be a great player for us this season in what has been a 'problem position`…"

But Lloyd Doyley has already man marked the pace and power of Charlton`s Hameur Bouazza and England U19 speedster Victor Moses out of the game already this season, so the former Vitesse Arnham winger won`t have it all his own way.

should be a good game, just as long as it is better than last year, but will setle for a poor game and 3 points, just like last year though!

I won't be at the game, but would settle for the same. But we need to get off to a better start than last week or against Forest. I think Aidy will have the boys fired up for this one. Come on You Golden Boys!
