'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Viva la Watford!

If the likes of Dale Bennett and Eddie Oshodi never make it in the game, then they can at least tell the Granchildren, they played against Spanish giants, Valencia.

All be it in a kickabout over in Sunny Spain, the Watford young guns have been invited to take on the Paella munchers tonight after they visited the Hornets Harefield Academy and left suitably impressed.

With the international break on, the Spaniards will be without key Spanish internationals David Villa and David Silva, but they will include some other seniors not on international duty. Watford have taken the following squad:

Richard Lee (GK); Louis Lavers, Theo Angus, Eddie Oshodi, Cedric Avinel, Jordan Parkes, Dale Bennett; Billy Gibson, Ross Jenkins, Kurtney Brooks, Piero Mingoia, Matt Wichelow, Lionel Ainsworth, Bryan, Marvin Sordell; Fabrice Otshudi, Andy Yiadom, L.Henderson and L.Young.

Come on You 'Orns!

I will be keen to see how Cedrid Avinel gets on against the likes of Morientes and Edu!!!

What a great experiance for the youngsters, and just goes to show how good our academy set up is if a team as big as them is so impressed!!! Hope our cash problems does not spoil it.
