'If It's Football, It's Vital'
'Cuter' Watford deserved win - Aidy
Despite Ipswich fans` continued insistence that Watford play ugly football, Hornets gaffer Aidy Boothroyd reckons his side were "tactically cuter" and "deserved the win" as they beat the Tractor Boys 2-1.
Ok, so the first half performance was far from pretty and, at times, some of the passing was downright offensive on the eye but Boothroyd is adamant that his side were worthy of all 3 points after a storming 2nd half comeback.
The Watford gaffer stated "I thought we were a little bit cuter tactically than we were in the first half…If we hadn`t have got the winner I would have been disappointed because of the chances we had in the match - I thought we deserved it in the end".
But could Boothroyd put his finger on why it took 45 minutes and a half time reshuffle for his side to find their 'sexy football` passing game that was simply too good for Ipswich?
Well kinda... He quipped "…we seemed to be enjoying the sun too much in the first half!"
The lesson learned then lads - keep the self-tanning sessions to your spare time please.

A great display with plenty of invention and variety from the Golden Boys. First 30minutes were simply awful but the way we came back was magnificent.
Ipswich play some nice football, but are hardly the purists themselves these days, with the likes of Thatcther (who should've been banned for life after that tackle on Mendes) and Campo kicking lumps out of anything that moves!
