Hornets land Hammers in Cup draw

Following victories against two League Two sides, Watford will now up the anti against Alan Curbishly's West Ham in the League Cup 3rd Round.

The fixture will be played at Vicarage Road on either the 23rd of September [Tuesday] or 24th [Wednesday].

West Ham reached this stage with a bye in the first round followed by a 4-1 defeat of League Two outfit Macclesfield in the second, whilst Watford overcame Darlington 2-1 in extra time.

Indeed, but the league is priority so hopefully AB will keep faith with the kids, probably see them beat, keep a fit first team squad and the kids learn from the experience...?

I think keep faith with the kids, but have some of our first team on the bench, the likes of Smith and co so if we are still in with a shout in the second half, they could come on and win it for us - a good cup run will be handy for finances and confidence.
