'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rich Pickings - 'Lee amongst the best'

In this months FourFourTwo magazine, young Peterborough goalkeeper, Joe Lewis has listed Hornets crocked stopper, Richard Lee amongst his top five Football Leage stoppers.

'Richard has Premier League experience and played well last season, even if Watford's results tailed away.'

Also listed in Lewis' top five, were MK Dons veteran, Willie Gueret, Championship new-boy Kieren Westwood, Wolves young'un Wayne Hennessey and returning Ipswich 'keeper, Richard Wright.

If Richard Lee does return in goal for the Hornets this afternoon, then we could be treated to two displays of fine goalkeeping, apparently.

MEANWHILE...Ipswich's young striker-cum-winger, Danny Haynes has prepared for todays clash by being arrested for assult. Whether he will recieve bail in time to feature is not yet known.

FINALLY...Ipswich frontman Alan Lee has this morning joined Championship rivals Crystal Palace for a fee of around 600k.

Would have Lee in ahead of Poom every day of the week. He lost a bit of confidence towards the end of the season but it's hardly surprising given what was going on in front of him... Come on Aidy - Bring Richard back!

Well after 2 minutes vs Ipswich I was wishing anyone else was between the sticks rather than Poom, however he then played probably his best game since joining. But I still prefer Richard Lee.
