Watford the way to win a war

Watford the way to win a war

WATFORD V IPSWICH

Many people thought Watford would struggle this year but Aidy Boothroyd has stayed true to his word and turned the Hornets into a decent footballing team, even though they could not get much worse.

Ipswich started this season with a fanfare of promotion hopes but they look as though they should be more concerned with relegation at the moment.

They may come good later in the year but Watford should have enough this Saturday evening. Tommy Smith looks like a new player this season and a fervent Vicarage Road crowd can see the Hornets home.

Anyone who watched Watford regularly would know that Tommy Smith was superb last year - week in week out - and won player of the season by a street, his new role and the different team style this year give him more of the ball and the opportunity to get on the scoresheet as well as create them for others. Rock on Tommy!
