Lewis - I'm better than brother Ash

Those Young brothers are full of confidence you know…

Ashley Young might have already notched up over 50 games for Aston Villa since his £9.65m move, played for England and scored an absolute screamer in the UEFA Cup but younger brother Lewis reckons he`s still "better than him"

That`s right folks. Lewis Young might only just have picked up his first senior start in a Hornets shirt - in the 2-1 Carling Cup win over Darlo - but the next lad off the Young production is aiming to 'out-do' his sibling.

Lewis - the brother who did not lend his name for Ashley to use as an online nickname during 'that` webcam fiasco - told the Watford official club site "There are similaries but we`re definitely not the same - I`m better than him.

"Obviously my brother is doing well but I just want to out-do him".

Let`s face it, if Lewis does make the same impact at Vicarage Road as older bruv Ashley then we`re in for a magical few seasons but the Academy starlet is keen to be his own man.

He added "Having a brother like that, there`s always going to be pressure but you have to put it to the back of your mind because otherwise you won`t be able to focus on your own game".

Well Lewis, that`s a very mature attitude to have on your young shoulders my lad.

Have any of you guys seen him play? I find it hard to believe he could even be a patch on Ash. With all sincerity, thanks alot for Ashley Young, he makes going to watch my club a pleasure and alot of that is down to the fantastic development work your club did with him. Well done and all the best for the season.

Feeder club we will always be, he has the talent for sure, just need to stay free of injury and put some meat on. If villa wanna keep paying £9 million, then im sure Chairman Mao, will take it!

Here here, same as Mack, your grace in his signing and his attitude and skill are both great compliments to Watford and his training and upbringing. Long may we have a good relationship with you guys. Thanks

There's obviously something good in those Young genes so why don't Watford sign-up their Dad and then charge stud fees for him?

Don't mention that little twerps name on here....Forrester is considered a bit of a turncoat in Watford circles....He'd have played for the first 11 this season had he not been a money grabber! Good player mind you ;-)

I hear Kyle Young is already pulling up a few trees for the Academy sides as well so another one is about to roll off the production line in the Young household. I loved ABs comments about taking Mrs Young "out for a meal" to keep encouraging her.

Its wrong the way prem teams can basicaly steal from the acadamys of teams in the Championship,Spurs nicking John Bostock another example then the players get no first team experience. And everyone wonders why the England team suffers.

I think the Ashley Young deal was payback for us taking (getting stuck with) Graham Taylor off your hands the second time around guys. Forrester was just rubbing your noses in it.

Taylor was superb in both spells with Watford and took Villa back to the top tier. He is an absolute star as far as I'm concerned and what he achieved with a small club such as ours was remarkable, so please give him respect. Feeder club we may be, but I wish Ashley continuing success and hope it doesn't go to his head. O'neill is a decent manager and should keep his feet on the ground. Would be nice for Villa to help us for a change and send us a striker on short-term on loan now that Rasiak is injured ..... We had Agbonlahor when he was too young 3 years back but I think he might get a place in our starting Xi now! Come on You Golden Boys!

You had him on loan to improve his devolepment, and you hardly gave him a chance with two bloody games lol. Anyway if he is another starlet like his bruv then i'd happily pay 9m again lol.

Gabby was rubbish on loan - looked like a kid lost in a big man's world . I liked the fact that AB reckoned we were the ones who gave him his big break when in fact the gaffer prefered to play Trevor Benjamin up front!!!!

Let's bring the talk back down to Lewis Young. He looked better than Ashley did in his first game for the Hornets... I remember Ashley having a poor first 10 games for us... That was until he found his feet... Lewis in my view is ahead of where Ashley was at the same age... As long as we don't put too much pressure on his young shoulders I think he will become a better player than Ashley...
