VitalWatford driven crazy by Carr link

A handful of unofficial fan sites are tonight reporting that Watford have turned down the opportunity to sign former Newcastle right back Stephen Carr… for free!!!

There`s not much else to add really apart from the fact that the editors of those Newcastle fan sites clearly haven`t heard of the Hornets complete lack of available funds to be considered seriously interested in the ex Republic of Ireland defender.

Yes he does have pedigree having played for the Magpies and also Spurs and hey, at 31 he might be a better option than the aging legs of Ulise De La Cruz but if we can`t afford a little known centre back from the Scottish league then we can`t afford Carr…

So here`s a simple 2 word advice note to the editors of these so-called fans sites when speculatively linking us to their big name cast-offs who can`t even secure a deal at Wigan or Wolves….

"WAGE BILL".
