Did Tommy get his gun v Charlton?

So the Hornets picked up their first 3 points of the season with a 1-0 win over Charlton Athletic on Saturday - thanks in no small part to a classy strike from front runner Tommy Smith.

But did Tommy rock on or were you more impressed with the way Sir Lloyd of Doyley dealt Bouazza a hameur blow on his return to Vicarage Road with his outstanding man marking skills?

Maybe Leigh Bromby was your pick in the Hornets performance? After all, Addicks striker Andy Gray probably woke up and found the former Blade centre back still had him tucked in his pocket on Sunday morning!!!!

For me Tommy was MOTM... With Jay a close second....

Seems like AB also thought Bromby was immense. The aerial threat of Gray and Varney was completely closed down by a rock solid back line. Lloyd looks like a different player on the ball this season...could I even use the word 'composed'?

TS was superb and both new signings (Harley & Rasiak) looked useful. It's shaping up better than I expected. Come On you Golden Boys!

There is still hope of getting some transfer money for Doyley then! he still could not put the ball in to the box! but there are positives to take from the game, Will start to look at the league table in 5 or so matches!
