'Addicks the stronger side' - Pardew
So, apparently the sports journalists at some of the UK`s biggest and well loved tabloids are all well and truly wrong in their write-ups of Watford`s 1-0 win over Charlton on Saturday…
…well, that`s the opinion of Addicks boss Alan Pardew anyway.
You see, despite a whole news-rack of reports claiming a 'comfortable Watford win` against a 'meek Charlton side who went down with barely a whimper` and that Nicky Weaver "ensured the scoreline failed to reflect the Hornets superiority", Pardew insists that Athletic "were the stronger side".
Come off it Alan. The Addicks gaffer told awaiting media "I thought we gave a good strong display in the second half. Apart from that 20 minutes in that game I thought we were the stronger side".
He went on to add "In the second half I really felt we had a go. We had a couple of half-chances and we really had to work hard with the extra man but I`m very disappointed to have lost that game".
Which all goes to show you shouldn`t always believe everything you read in the papers…
Otherwise you might actually start to think Pardew knew what he was talking about…

Total nonsense from Pardew, Weaver was their MOM which says a lot. but the comments are for his own supporters and are classic sour grapes. We had a dodgy 15 mins immediately after half time but apart from that were in control.

Pardew has always disliked wfc, wouldn't be surpised if his wife is so bloody ugly to all of us, but hey, he thinks she is beautiful, he is entitled to his opinion, this time hs is so wide of the mark, he needs and eye transplant!
