Boothroyd back in love with Bangura

Sierra Leone midfielder Al Bangura is thankfully back in Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd`s good books after being banished back to Blighty from the pre-season training camp.

Bangura was sent home from the Hornets summer base in Austria for apparently 'doing a bit of Savage` and having a bad attitude towards the intensive training sessions.

However, despite playing no part in the opening day no score draw with Crystal Palace, Boothroyd has reassured us all that he and Al have put it all behind them.

Boothroyd confirmed "It`s a private matter but we`re now back in love and it`s up to him to get back in the team. So I didn`t bring him here [to Palace] but he`s available next game"

He added "Sometimes young players need to be disciplined and sometimes they need some tough love. Al was sent home from Austria. When young players step out of line, you have to hit them hard - that`s what I did. But I`m a big fan of his…I still love him.'

Ah bless.
