Watford get 'Shot of young Junior

Watford`s wafer thin squad has seen yet another departure with young defender Junior Osborne being released….to join Aldershot on trial.

Osborne has seen a promising career blighted by injury but had appeared to be on the way back to fitness after several run outs in pre-season only for Aidy Boothroyd to pull the plug on his time Watford - 4 days before the start of the new season.

With only a handful of Hornets performances to his name (notably Carling Cup runouts), Osborne may not have been expected to play a big part during this campaign but we need every last bit of experience available.

The young right back will now look to strike a deal at the Recreation Ground and impress Aldershot boss John McGinty!

But here at VitalWatford we have to question whether saving his £350 a week wages are gonna add anything to the pot when it comes to securing a new signing of note.

You certainly had me going there... For a moment, I thought you meant junior Young (ie Lewis, brother of ASHLEY!) not young Junior (ie Osborne). Good luck to the lad but our situation remains the same......Desperate! Come on You Golden Boys!

J O has never shown any real first team quality that I can remember... The switch will probable do him good... Good luck son...
