Oh Bulls! Moses leaves on loan

Oh Bulls! Moses leaves on loan

If Watford weren`t short of firepower as it was, then letting Moses Ashikodi join League 1 new boys Hereford United on loan seems a strange moveā€¦but that`s the breaking news from the club!

Ashikodi has appeared to be in a fine fettle of form during pre-season and had stated that he was looking forward to getting amongst the goals on the official site but now he`ll ply his trade Edgar Street until the New year.

The departure of the former West Ham, Millwall and Rangers striker leaves Tamas Priskin, Theo Robinson and Will Hoskins as the only frontmen on Watford`s books with any kind of league experience!

Surely Aidy Boothroyd now has an experienced head lined up to join the ranks ahead of the new campaign?

Surprising, but then again perhaps not knowing the state we are in and as he has clearly been out of favour since scoring those 2 goals in the first game. It would be very interesting to know if we are receiving any loan fee or whether his wages are being fully covered whilst he's away...... You don't think he's going to revert to Plan A and play Big Dan up front do you?? Surely not......

Only three forwards at the club... I just don't know what to think at the moment... Do we stand a chance of greatness this season... We've gone from the best forward line 3 years ago to the worst now... God help us... (I meen GT)
