Watford Fear No One

Watford Fear No One

'We don't fear anyone in this league,' according to Matthew Springs who scored in Watford's 3-1 victory over QPR at Vicarage Road on Tuesday.

The midfielder continued: 'We've already demonstrated that against Sheffield United. They've been beating everyone and even though we lost that game it showed that we can mix it with the bets team in the division. It's always good to score, I haven't had one in the last six or seven games so I was pleased to grab one tonight.'

The win took Watford above local rivals Luton and into third place in the league and Spring boasted: 'It's nothing special to overtake Luton tonight - if we keep on winning, we'll overtake everyone eventually!' Go on my son, get in there!!

Happily, the team also still believe they can improve: 'We're playing OK at the moment but we all feel there's more to come. Not many teams are stronger than us in the last 15 or 20 minutes of games and Gavin Mahon and myself are starting to get a good understanding in the centre of midfield. We've also got other players who can come in and do a job too which is great for the squad.'

Music to any Hornets fans ears.
