Whos ya Daddy? Coach`s son gets trial

Whos ya Daddy? Coach`s son gets trial

Watford first team coach Martin Hunter has persuaded Aidy Boothroyd to give his son, Lawrence Hunter, a trial with the new look Hornets.

Hunter, who can play anywhere on the left side, was part of the youth set-up at Leicester in 2004 and played in the same Academy U18 side as Fox favourites James Wesolowski, Richard Steerman (now Wolves), Levi Porter and Alan Sheenan (now Leeds).

And Boothroyd would have been impressed with young Lawrence`s dead ball brilliance from the left side of midfield in last nights friendly win at Borehamwood as he hit 2 stunning free-kicks that will certainly be ones for the family album.

Nepotism is fine as long as it's kept in the family! But good luck to the lad, it could well work out as long as there's no transfer fee....
