Lloyd leads leaving Octet

Lloyd leads leaving Octet

Finally - something has been done about the Hornets gigantic squad which has some twenty-odd pro's on the books.

The Watford Observer has confirmed that Lloyd Doyley, Matt Jackson, Mart Poom, Douglas Rinaldi, Toumani Diagouraga, Will Hoskins, Steve Kabba and Damien will all be allowed to leave.

The biggest surprise amongst that list must be Lloyd Doyley who was a regular last season for the Hornets at right back, Adrian Mariapa must be delighted! Doyley passed 100 games for the club this season too.

Mart Poom, Matt Jackson and Douglas Rinaldi were all brought in last Summer by Boothroyd but Jackson was farmed out on loan before spending most the season in the reserves. Poom started the season as number one before injury gave Richard Lee the spot for the rest of the campaign, despite errors.

Steve Kabba, hapless striker, signed two January's ago has finally been given his marching orders after just one goal, that coming this season ironically.

Youngsters Will Hoskins and Toumani Diagouraga were scarcely given a chance by Boothroyd, both shipped out on loan this season. Diagouraga is expected to return to Hereford after pitching up there on-loan this season.

Despite a Christmas flourish of games and goals, Damien Francis has been allowed to leave, largely methinks because of inconsistency as well as consistent injuries.

with the exception of Poom, who is a good shot stopper, but fails to command his box and talk to the defenders, Rinaldi who was never given a chance, you don't want the others, unless you are the chairman of your club in which case i think Doyley is Fantastic, great in training, you can have him for a couple of pints of stella! what we will do? remains to be seen, but top half is achievable, what about your team?

Will Hoskins left Rotherham with such big ideas - didn't exactly come off for him. And, we had Tiggy Diagouraga on loan at one bit too - can't say I was over impressed with him

LLoyd is Watford through and through. As for the rest Kabba is a good player who always trys and trys. Why get shot of a one of our only forwards left at the club. Poom is better then Lee. (I think I could be too) (and my gran) Hoskins is rubbish. Rinaldi not given a chance to shine. Damien is class, so he'll go. I don't know why Aidy is sell, sell, sell... Not buy, buy, buy. Is it coz simpson doesn't want to spend any money knowing he's leaveing. (if he can) He's to another season of struggling at the bottom again..... (1881 'Till I Die)
