'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Newest member of the Crewe

Here's a real 'turn up for the books', former Watford forward, Joel Grant, he of no fame in WD18 has joined Crewe Alexandra.

Not only has the pacey striker made a return to league football after and impressive season in non-league with Aldershot, he's joined the Railwaymen for 130k.

Grest Road gaffer, Steve Holland swooped for the youngster a couple of days back, and it's only recently that I've come round again.

During his time at Vicarage Road, Grant made two starts for the Golden Boys with a further five appearances coming from the bench.

From my hazy memories of three years ago, one has to concede failure to remember him achieving anything of note!

Good luck Joel!
