Watford in surprise Johnson swoop

Watford could be set to make a surprise swoop for MK Dons front man Jemal Johnson if sources close to the former Blackburn Rovers and Wolves player are to be believed.

Johnson, who has also had spells on loan at Darlington, Leeds United and Preston in the last few seasons, has reportedly told friends that both Watford, and unexpectedly Everton, are amongst clubs to have made tentative enquiries and have been tracking the player at Stadium:MK.

The 23 year old, American born frontman notched up only 8 goals in the promotion push from Division 2 last season after being signed for a nominal fee from Wolves last summer.

Two things...

This is could well happen as Aidy is all for bringing nobodies through on the cheap, plus he is a quick and could play well alongside Hendo.

But, not yet, they don't even have a manager at the moment!

I don't know enough about this player to comment. Then again who really herd of Adam Johnson, Henderson, Foster or King before we saw them in a Watford shirt? Not me......
