And all that Gas! Watford draw Rovers
The Carling Cup first round draw has handed Watford a home tie against Division 1 outfit Bristol Rovers.
The 'Gas` from the Memorial Stadium were quarter finalists in last season`s FA Cup (eventually losing to the Boing Boing Baggies of WBA) but it will be the first cup meeting with the Hornets in club history.
Paul Trollop's men will travel to Vicarage Road wk commencing the 11th August and Aidy Boothroyd`s men will need to keep a close eye on 20-goal striker Ricky Lambert, free scoring midfielder Craig Disley and Wales U21 skipper Joe Jacobson at left back.
Other ties of note that have caught the eye of the VitalWatford boys are the Yorkshire derby between Sheff Wed and Rotherham, Luton`s clash with Devon`s finest bunch of whingers, Plymouth and a trip to Stadium:MK for the Canaries of Norwich.

Bristol Rovers have had a good cup pedigree in recent seasons. Could be a very tricky tie.
