Shittu NOT busted

Porbably the best news of pre-season [at least the only good news!] - but only so we can now look to tout Dan Shittu around.

The Hornets giant centre half is 'not injured', indeed he missed the Nigeria game with the same problem that ruled him out the 4-1 defeat to Hull.

After treatment on his injured hamstring, Shittu has now jetted off to enjoy the remainder of his holiday before the hard work begins in July. The big man had been reported by several sources - including our own 'Dr' Watford, as being out for eight weeks with an knee problem.

Thankfully though, he's back, for now...

He's being linked with quite a few clubs already in the close season, do you expect him to still be at Watford at the start of the season?

No. And although he is a very big part of the team, literally too, no player is irreplaceable and with a good fee, I would hope we could get him sold, quickly and start the re-building process....
