Baggies join race for big money Dan

Baggies join race for big money Dan

Just 2 seasons after choosing Watford over West Brom, massive centre back Dan Shittu is once again linked with a move to the Hawthorns…

Oh the lure of top flight football!!!

Shittu, who netted 9 times for the Hornets during the season just gone, was a mere 1 hour away from signing a contract at the Hawthorns (he even had the medical!) when he left QPR in August 2006 only to be lured out of Brian Robson`s grasp by Hornet boss Aidy Boothroyd.

Now it seems the Nigerian international with 80 Watford games to his name is being lined up as a ready made replacement for the (soon to be departed) Martin Albrechtsen if you believe everything you read in the redtops.

So that`s West Brom, QPR, Wigan, Sunderland, Glasgow Rangers and Celtic all vying for the big man`s signature this summer then???

Well as Malky Mackay said earlier in the week - It`s gonna cost ya.
