Desperate Dan?

Giant centre half Dan Shittu is allegedly wanted by former employers Queens Park Rangers as well as the slightly more glamerous, Glasgow Rangers.

Though the Loftus Road outfit are current owned by a collection of the richest men in the world what attraction is there in returning to scabby old Loftus Road? I mean, is he really desperate enough to jump ship for Q.P.R?

Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers and Celtic are both believed to be chasing the Nigerian ace, whilst he also has several Premiership admirers.

With Watford needing to raise around 6million in transfer fees, Dan's departure would make up the bulk of that sum along with Nathan Ellington, whose in talks with Derby. It has also been mooted that Shittu became unhappy after being kept on the bench for several weeks around the Christmas period whilst Watford's form faltered. However he recovered well to power hom a number of goals and his value to the club should never be doubted.

Perhaps Watford should look at raising cash through sales of hapless players instead of our second-highest goalscorer?!

Stay Danny. If you continue the path your on you could play for a prem top four not a second rate scot side or a top half championship team.

scabby old loftus road?are you having a bubble?it might not be the best stadium in rthe world but its expotentially better than vicarage road.may i suggest you peruse your own backyard before putting others down.as far as big dan is concerned you can keep him were moving away from 15 stone battering rams, mind you he suits your style of play INCOMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it's the hammering that QPR gave Watford at Vicarage Road that's attracted him!?... or the attraction for playing for a team on the up rather than playing boring one dimentional football... no brainer really!
Hoopsmatt
The only way loftus road looks better than the vic is in the contrast of the local area. This may be because whitecity is so run down. Your club may have money but that doesn't buy loyalty. The vic is going to have a face lift soon. Maybe your manager should do the same.
watford1881
Just because QPR have money they seem to think they are going to be promoted next season. Therefore players would prefer to go there. I expect Leicester fans thought that too.
