Aidy 'Hoola' hoopy over Wes threat

Blackpool winger Wes Hoolahan has to be stopped at all costs!

That`s the message Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd will install into his troops as the Hornets prepare for the Battle of Bloomfield Road and reignite their promotion hopes on Sunday.

The Hornets boss has earmarked the irish midfielder as a real and present danger to Watford`s play-off ambitions on the final day of the season, insisting "we`ve got to watch him"!

Running an eye over the threat inside the seasiders squad ahead of the crunch clash on Sunday, Boothroyd told the Blackpool Gazette "[Wes] Hoolahan is a key player for them. He gets into little holes and plays from side to side so we`ve got to watch him".

Hoolahan, who netted from the penalty spot for the Tangerines in the 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road back in early October, has been impressive form for the seasiders this season, starting all but 5 league games and wracking up 6 goals in the process.

He was even rumoured for a mid season switch to Sheffield United and even the Watford ranks at one point by a host of tabloids and it`s clear that Aidy has had his eye on him!

Hoolahan played ok, but he was a bit too small. I don't know if he would fit in to our team. I still think McIndoe from Bristol would be a far better buy. (1881 Forever & Ever)
