At VitalWatford Towers we were mighty pleased to see the return to action of Plymouth winger Peter Halmosi after his horrific looking injury in the ugly Home Park affair with Watford!
To celebrate the fact that the Pilgrims playmaker netted within 2 minutes of his comeback against Sheff Wednesday Dr Watford has been having a water fight in tribute to events earlier this season when the Hungarian was showered by the Watford bench as he lay prone on the Home Park pitch (allegedly)!
And no, we didn`t invite Hornets kit man Bob Oteng along for the fun - after all he`s far too good at the odd splish and splash if you believe everything you read.
Anyway, here`s Dr Watford`s 'Top 5 Water Guns` of choice...
1. Wazooka 2-in-1 Fun Blaster - £14.95
Can fire up to a staggering 15 metres - enough to hit wingers from safely within the technical area. It also comes with it`s own holster, 2 splash darts and even a stunt rocket attachment to ward off the rogue fan or 2!
2. Super Soaker XP220 Dual Pack - £8.99
Ok it hasn`t quite the reach of the Wazooka but this super light Dual Pack means that in the hands of both your kit man and your goalkeeping coach the XP220 has maximum drench power from all angles.
3. WildSling water bomb launcher - £9.95
Technically it`s not a water pistol but it comes with 150 free water bombs - which by our reckoning if just enough to soak each member of the Plymouth first team squad - 5 times over.
4. Tarantula Water Gun - £19.99
Looses points as it`s a bit bright and easily spotted by the 4th official but it does come with a rechargeable battery pack to fire constantly up to 60 seconds…so a proper soaking is possible in the time it takes the ref to flash a red card.
5. WaterBlaster XLR Elite - £14.99
A bit on the pricey side for a plastic tube just over 90cm long but the XLR can shoot 30oz of water in 1 blast and is such a simple design it can be concealed inside a tracksuit top within seconds.
