Duke: 'No regrets' about leaving WBA

Bearing in mind the hostile reaction Nathan Ellington got from the West Brom away support at Vicarage Road earlier in the season, the self-proclaimed 'Duke` is probably expecting a pretty tough ol` time of it on Saturday at a sold out Hawthorns.

(Think Lee Cook`s return with QPR but only 4 times as worse!)

Yet the Hornets striker (I was about to type 'hitman` but that`s hardly appropriate) - who netted a goal every 4 games for the Baggies - hasn`t played it particularly safe with the local Midlands press insisting "…I have no regrets about leaving" .

Ok so allow a bit of journalistic license here as the Duke did go on to add that 'I enjoyed my time at the club", "there are some good people there" and "it will be nice to return there and see everyone again"…

But he`s hardly gonna tell the IC Birmingham hacks that "he desperately hopes to get the winner in the last minute and stuff it up the Albion" now is he!

And "I didn`t get the chance to play there as much as I would have liked" isn`t a great headline story either is it!

Nathan, as everyone knows, has not had the best of seasons for the hornets this year. As long as he puts on the famous yellow shirt I will support him & sing for him as much as every other watford player. Let's be frank with king going we don't have much else to choose from do we. Nathan needs us as he returns to his ex club on Saturday. Let's show him our support. Nathan is watford, We are watford. (1881)

He's looked lethargic, but still pulled a number of strings. His touch is good, he knows how to score and he brings others into play. He has my continued support, but, if someone offered, it might be best to let him start again.
