Watford to be Barnsley's Cup Final

Watford to be Barnsley's Cup Final

Swansea-born Barnsley boss Simon Davey has put his Wembley heartbreak to Cardiff behind him and earmarked tonight`s trip to Watford as the cup final for his side.

But then confirmed that his troops will be without Anfield cup hero Brian Howard, former Hornet Martin Devaney and striker Daniel Nardiello for the journey south!

The Tykes gaffer told the official club site "We have 6 cup finals coming up now and we have to get the points we need - starting at Watford".

Davey`s rally ahead of the 'must win` game has been backed up by Dutch defender Marciano von Homoet who wants some proper bouncebackability from Barnsley teammates.

The former Sparta Rotterdam man called on his colleagues to "show our character and heart and make sure we bounce back at Watford" but was insistent that "we will get the points we need to stay up".

Bouncebackability indeed!
