Seething Aidy ready to walk the walk

Seething Aidy ready to walk the walk

King of the soundbites Aidy Boothroyd may be pretty good at talking a good game (as we all saw first hand on the pitch after the Stoke game) but he`s ready to get Hull out of his system by getting his team back to winning ways…feet first!

The enigmatic Hornets boss who confirmed he was 'still seething a little bit a week on` with the 3-0 defeat at the KC, told the club`s official site "Talking about it [winning] is fine but it`s about walking walk and making sure we do that on Saturday".

Boothroyd went on to confirm that the clash with Coventry this weekend is a 'must win` game if the Hornets are serious about winning the league, stating "At Watford we have to win it`s as simple as that. The bottom line is we`ve a game in hand and we have to start winning - that is fact.

He added "We set our target of winning the league at the beginning of the season and that's what we're trying to do."

So it`s one small step for man on Saturday that could turn into one giant leap up the table.

I wasn't feeling confident earlier on in the week, but with the news that Steve Kabba can know play I think we might just have enough to grab all three much needed points today. Like AB I think if we want to be champs we have to beat Coventry. I'd still settle for second in the table at the end of the season at this point. As would AB if he was honest. So keep the faith for the push ahead. (1881 till I die)

If we end up 2nd then its all good...Let's just turn over Barnsley now and all things will look possible again. Bristol City's wobble has come at a good stage (bad for them) and no doubt Phill Brown will pick up the cursed Manager of the Month award at Hull.
