Mc Ghee: It's not rocket science
Brighton manager Mark McGhee gave his reaction to the 1-0 defeat at the hands of promotion-chasing Watford.
The Brighton boss believes that the Seagulls still have a chance of staying in the Championship but rued Brighton missing several chances.
Mc Ghee told Seagulls World, 'I'm confident that we've still got a very good chance of staying up. “We've got a team and a squad that are fully committed, who are buoyant in the sense that they are as buoyant as they could be given the run of results,” said the former Reading, Leicester and Wolves manger. 'They're working, they're committed and as long as they are we will give ourselves a chance,' added Mc Ghee.
Brighton played well in periods against high-flying Watford but missed several goalscoring opportunities and McGhee admitted, 'I thought we played OK, I thought we played well but I still think we could have been a little bit sharper at some things.”
“Again we missed chances - several good chances - and let in a dreadful goal. It's not rocket science, it's not any mystery. “You miss chances, you let in a goal, you lose games,” concluded McGhee.
