Chelsea keeper joins on loan
Chelsea goalkeeper Yves Makabu-Ma-Kalambay has joined promotion-chasing Watford on a month's loan deal.
Although the Belgian, who is six foot five inches tall, hasn't made a first-team appearance for the reigning Premiership Champions, he has played regularly, along with former on-loan Hornet Lenny Pidgely, in the West London outfit's second string.
Hornets' boss Aidy Boothroyd told the club's official website: 'We're grateful to Chelsea for providing us with goalkeeping cover. “The fact we've got Yves for a month means we can see how he shapes up in training - and call on him if we need his services.'
The Belgian-born twenty-year-old is cover for veteran ‘keeper Alec Chamberlain while he deputises for the suspended Ben Foster.
