No sport relief for Eustace red card

Watford have decided not to contend the red card shown to John Eustace despite heavy support from Stoke City officials… as they believe they won`t be able to convince ref 'Useless Rob' Styles he made a mistake!

The Hornets captain - who was a massive favourite at the Britannia Stadium before his move south in January - was dismissed after just 25 minutes in Saturday`s clash of the Championship heavweights, after smug match official Useless Rob Styles reckoned he endangered Richard Cresswell`s groin!

Now despite a barrage of support coming out of the Potteries include Tony Pulis, Andy Griffin and even 'victim` Richard Cresswell, Watford have confirmed they won`t run the risk of an appeal and a lengthened ban for their midfield general.

The Hornets club site stated "For an appeal to be successful we must prove the decision has been a clear error on the referee`s part. Whilst we believe it to be wrong and both Tony Pulis and Andy Griffin believe it to have been wrong, it is nonetheless a judgement call by Rob Styles and we cannot prove it otherwise".

So there we have it. Richard Cresswell says it 'was never a sending off`, Stoke`s Andy Griffin says "It was a foul, possibly a yellow card but a red card? No way" and even calls for "justice to prevail"…

But Useless Rob will get away with yet another rubbish decision because he is an abysmal ref with a massive ego.

And on that front, the whole of the footballing world can't prove VITALWATFORD wrong either.
