'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Horns-Clarets: Early Team News

It looks like all change for the Hornets tomoroww as Aidy Boothroyd heads to where it all began, looking for his first victory there.

A week spent out in Dubai, strictly for training purposes mind, has seen skipper Jay DeMerit, Steve Kabba and Lee Williamson leap back into contention for Saturday.

Club captain DeMerit has been out for around a month due to a groin problem allowing Dan Shittu and Leigh Bromby to build a solid partnership. However, the American looks set to return alongside Shittu with Bromby switching to right-back ahead of Mariappa.

Lee Williamson has been missing from the first-team of late due to John Eustace's form, but with O'Toole short of form, Aidy looks set to re-instate the former Miller ahead of Al Bangura.

Up top, Nathan Ellington's drab performance last Saturday looks set to re-aquaint him with his old friend the bench with Steve Kabba given the chance to test the returning Stan Varga; according to sources close to VitalWatford...

Burnley will also welcome back veteran striker, Andy Cole who has four goals in two games for his latest club.

Finally, long-term absentees Collins John and Gareth Williams are set for a place on the bench and heavier training respectively.

Dutch cap John has been injured since his loan-arrival in January and his lack of fitness has also contributed to his progression whilst Williams is recovering well from knee ligament damage.

VitalWatford wish Gareth all the best in the final stages of his recovery.

Wouldn't like to predict this one. Burnley could pick up the points

a draw 1-1 is how this will play out i predict and it will be a goal each half

It's going to be tight, without question. However, in our favour is our away form coupled with their home form which is questionable under Coyle.
