Toole of a Ref sees card quashed

Toole of a Ref sees card quashed

Andy Penn's ridiculous decision to send youngster John-Joe O'Toole off on the basis of an evidently blind linesman has been rescinded.

good decision, but for the ref to decide to send him off anyway was wrongly judged. the linemen should have had not been allowed to choose over the refs dicision to just give a yellow/.

Indeed. I agree maybe the referee can be over-ruled, but to send someone off on the basis of what your assistant has said is ridiculous, especially when most linesmen do not see something that has happened four yards in front of them!
