'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sadler rides into Team of the Week

Left back Matt Sadler has only made 4 appearances for Watford in the Championship but his performances since joining the Hornets have already earnt him league recognition.

The 750k January signing from Birmingham rightly deserved to be named in the Football Leagues 'Championship Team of the Week` after playing a key role in ensuring Watford became the first away team to win at Ipswich for more than 11 months.

Sadler, who cited a desire to play first team football as his motivation to drop down a division, has enjoyed an unbeaten league start with Watford and contributed towards a +5 goal difference in the last 4 games, thanks to clean sheets v Leicester and Wolves.

He is joined in this week`s Championship Team of the Week by Kenny (Sheff Utd), Ricketts (Hull), Cort (Stoke), St Ledger (PNE), Sproule (Bristol City), Fotherington (Norwich), Clemence (Leicester), Lawrence (Stoke), Agyemang (QPR), Evans (Norwich).
